wow...i've been away for a while...i didn't even realize that it's been almost two weeks since i updated last...well...i just looked at the calender...it HAS been two weeks...and in all this time, not too much has happened...i got the hotel room reserved for my birthday party...that takes a lot of stress off...thursday i went up to pittsburgh to visit my grandma and some friends...friday i went shopping and spent a couple hundred dollars on clothes and shoes...then on friday night i went to a club there with lauren, my closest friend from there...we were harrassed by an obnoxious dick-head of a cop...then followed for hours through the club by some creep...yeah, good times...it's so funny because the whole time i've been living in virginia, i've always wanted to move back to pittsburgh and i would be so ecstatic when the time came for me to visit again...but after this last time...i realized that pittsburgh isn't my "home" anymore...viginia is now...seriously, if my grandma wasn't up there, i would have no reason to go anymore...that place sucks ass...i always thought that the people in viginia were ignorant...they can't hold a flame to the people in pittsbugh anymore...my grandma says that it's because the "lower class" is taking over the city...and you know, it seems like she is exactly right...everywhere you turn there is nothing but people dressed all scrubby fighting with each other or beating the shit out of their kids...it is so disgusting...or, as much as i hate to admit it, maybe i've just become a snob...i've been molded to fit into the beach society and now my roots seem appalling to me...whatever it is, i really don't give a damn...i just know that i could care less if i ever see that city again...i don't think i've ever longed for virginia like i did this past weekend...and now that i'm home i am so happy...things go back to normal tomorrow...i start work tomorrow night...it will be nice to have my routine back...until then...i need to get to sleep...i have tons of chores to finish tomorrow...good night...
